Cardinal Donald Wuerl covered up the first cover up by Bishop Leonard and Cardinal Wright in 1978 when Wuerl became Bishop of Pittsburgh in 1988. He knew Cipolla was guilty as sin but still covered for Fr. Cipolla to protect the reputation of the Church. Wuerl and the Pittsburgh Diocese payed $ 900,000. Dollars to Tim Bendig another victim in order to hush the story up and bury it. Tim was put under a contract with the Church to keep the whole matter quiet.
How can Wuerl not admit his crimes? What else is he keeping secret? I want him to admit his down and dirty tactics...and his reason for listening to the devils who made him what he is today. Wuerl is a traitor. He may have done some good in his life but it doesn't erase the evil, lying and conniving he polluted our laity with. When did Catholics become.e pacifists? We can't allow ourselves to become complacent with sin...no matter what it's disguised as.
